Founded in 1985 Better Blinds, Inc. has been providing Chicago, its surrounding suburbs and neighboring states with window treatment sales and service for more than 35 years. In addition to cleaning and repairs to existing window treatments and offering products made by other major manufacturers for sale, in 2016 we began manufacturing roller shades in-house, motorized and manually operated, enabling us to offer our clients more service and product at reasonable cost, delivered/installed in a timely fashion. No matter the style or function, Better Blinds can meet your needs for all manner of window treatments.

For decades Better Blinds has been the vendor of choice for property managers such as CBRE Real Estate, JLL Real Estate Company, NAI Hiffman, Collier’s International, McKnight Property Management, servicing suburban office building locations like MidAmerica Plaza, One Energy Center and Oak Brook Executive Tower. Some Chicago proper buildings we service are the Prudential Plaza at 130 E. Randolph Street, Wolf Point Towers, The Lofts at Roosevelt, Coast at Lakeshore Apartment Complexes, Alta at K Station at 555 W. Kinzie Street and the McCormick Building. Coast at Lakeshore has contracted to replace all venetian blinds in 560+ units with Better Blinds manual roller shades. Work on this project began summer 2018.

Better Blinds employs a tenured team of installers, in-house cleaning and repair staff, in-house notary for contract/waiver completion, and office staff to handle ordering/scheduling/inquiries.
